I’m an innovative full-stack software engineer based in Upstate New York. I work with a wide variety of tools - including JavaScript, NodeJS, React, MongoDB, Three.js, Python, Amazon Web Services, Heroku, and Google Cloud - to bring ideas to life and craft customized solutions to life-impacting problems. My recent work has been focused on designing and building digital platforms to improve access to quality safety training in various industries.
Prior to becoming a software engineer, I worked in education for 10 years, most of it as a Special Education teacher. This experience helped me to develop leadership skills, teamwork, attention to detail, customer service, data-driven decision making, and effective communication. Today, I leverage these skills (and more) in order to support clients, quickly identify needs, propose effective solutions, and follow through by delivering products that exceed expectations.
I have a passion for automation, efficiency, and creating customized tools that break barriers to continuous improvement. I’m always ready to join a small, collaborative team that is passionate about helping each other make a positive impact on the world!

This is an educational platform designed to use learning games that build skills and provide data to track students' progress. Instructors use the main application to add students, assign games from the library, and see results. Students use the companion app to access their games and complete assignments.
